Privacy policy
How Hyperfocal collects, uses and stores information from visitors to this site, prospective clients and the people we work with.
This page is not Hyperfocal’s privacy policy. The headings below set out the structure a privacy policy needs; the sentence beside each one describes what belongs there, it is not the policy language itself. The firm’s counsel must draft and approve the operative text before this page can replace this notice and the site can go live.
Information we collect
The categories of personal data the site gathers automatically from a visitor and the information a person provides directly, for example through a form.
The contact form
What happens to a name, organization and message submitted through the site’s contact form, and who at the firm receives it.
Cookies and analytics
Which cookies, analytics tools or similar tracking technologies the site uses, and how a visitor can control or decline them.
Third-party processors
The outside vendors and service providers — such as hosting, email and analytics providers — that may process data on the firm’s behalf.
Data retention
How long personal data is kept after it is collected, and the basis on which the firm decides to retain or delete it.
Your rights
The rights a person has over their own data — such as access, correction or deletion — and the process for exercising them.
Children’s privacy
A statement that the site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
How and when this policy may be updated, and how a visitor will be told about a material change.
